How to use

Press Flip or tap the coin. It lands on heads or tails and the answer appears underneath. That is the whole tool — everything below is optional.

Is the flip actually fair?

Yes. Each toss draws a fresh bit from crypto.getRandomValues, your browser's cryptographically secure random generator — not Math.random, which most coin-flip pages use. The result is chosen the instant the coin leaves your hand; the spinning animation is then built to land on that answer. The physics can't nudge the outcome, because the outcome was already decided.

Juggling can't skew it either. Every kick draws a brand new bit, so a hundred-hit combo is still a plain 50/50 at the end of it.

The juggling thing

Click or tap the coin while it's still in the air and you'll knock it back up. Your combo goes up, the coin flies lower and faster each time, and the effects get out of hand. The moment it touches down, the combo ends and whatever face is showing is your result. Your best combo is saved on this device.

Fairness check

Once you've flipped 30 times, the stats panel works out how lopsided your record is and how often blind chance produces something that lopsided or worse. Nine heads out of ten looks rigged and isn't — that happens about 2% of the time. It's the same two-sided test a statistician would run on a real coin.

Asking it a question

Type a question in the box and flip. You get the same honest coin, with the answer spelled out: heads is yes, tails is no. Press Enter in the box to flip without reaching for the button. Nothing you type is stored or sent anywhere — it is only used to write the line on screen.

Sound

Off unless you turn it on. Every sound is built in the browser from oscillators and filtered noise, so nothing downloads — including the reverb, whose room is generated rather than recorded. Each juggle sits higher up a pentatonic scale than the last and pans to wherever the coin is, and once the pitch tops out the sound keeps opening up instead: brighter, wider, with a shimmer above it that fades in around the tenth hit. On the hundredth it drops two octaves into a much bigger room and stays down there until the coin lands.

While you are away

Leave the page and come back later and the coin will have carried on without you, at one flip per thirty seconds away, up to two hundred. Those are genuine flips, drawn from the same secure generator the moment you return — not invented numbers. They have to be real, because they land in the same totals as the fairness check.

Unlocks

Fifteen coin designs and twenty-two achievements unlock as you flip and juggle. A few of the coins behave oddly on purpose — one tumbles slowly, one shows you the wrong face for a moment before owning up. None of them touch the result, which is drawn before the coin leaves your hand. One coin is not listed at all until you find it.

Everything is stored in your own browser — no account, no upload, nothing to sign into. Clearing your browser data or hitting Reset stats wipes it.
